Life Skills Youth Case Manager
Mrs. Maria Rosado started working at the Urban League of Hudson County, Inc. in October 1995 as an Adolescent Servicing Center Case Manager. Mrs. Rosado received a promotion to work with the Life Skills program in September of 1999. In the years following, Ms. Rosado would continue to work in each department, serving in various positions such as counselor, coordinator, and assistant supervisor. In 2004 she was promoted to the Adopt-A-Parent program, serving as a case manager. Currently, Ms. Rosado works in the Life Skills program as a full-time Youth Case Manager. In this position, she provides supportive counseling to Department of Child Protection & Permanency (DCP&P) youths and assists in training staff.
Mrs. Rosado received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in May 1995 from St. Peter’s College. She regularly engages in continuing professional education training and seminars to provide the best level of service and care to the youth of our community. According to Mrs. Rosado, she enjoys providing support for the families she works with to grow to their fullest potential. She feels truly blessed to have the opportunity to work at ULOHC and considers every day a learning experience. Ms. Rosado has been the proud wife of Luis Rosado for 24 years and the mother to three children, twins Eric and John, 18, and Sophia, 10.
